March 2018: Having a head for heights and business

The final advice columns for Pareto Financial Planning were published by Greater Manchester Business Week.

They focused on company investments, exit and succession, and what to do once you have sold a business.

The story about Pareto’s link-up with Haydock raceourse was also picked up by Business Leader, the Manchester Evening News published the story on new Vernon Building Society chief executive Steve Fletcher, and Lianne Sykes’ business award at The Lean Body Project is on BDaily (log-in required) as well as South Manchester News (below).

The Vernon Building Society (Poynton) Brass Band raised £900 for Stockport Foodbank and the story is here on the Stockport Independent as well as on South Manchester News.

South Manchester News

South Manchester News recorded just over 12,000 page views and is on course to break the 450,000 barrier very soon.

The most-read story by more than 500 people was about Altrincham and The Heatons being named ‘best places to live’ in the north west and shows the value of good, unique content.

The next two most-read were both rugby stories, from The Manchester Grammar School and Heaton Moor Junior Colts.

Big Planet Travel

We were in the French Pyrenees for BPT some skiing in March – with plenty of Instagram action.

We also published the best of the photos from the trip and a review of the Pontoon in the Sky at the Pic du Midi for Planet Ski.

There will be a full review of the trip before the next ski season.
