North west financial planning consultancy Pareto FP looks to expand its team to build on a record-breaking 2016.
Independent financial advisers Anthony Bruchez and Alex Savage, financial services administrator Simon Hawkins and paraplanner Maura Zara have all joined the award-winning Manchester firm.
Pareto took on eight new employees during 2016, its best-ever financial year that saw turnover increase to £3.4m, up 26% on 2015.
Leeds-born Alex is now working out of accountancy introducer Alexander & Co, having spent the last six years as an IFA in the region.
Anthony, who has 10 years’ experience in financial services, will be looking after Pareto’s portfolio of existing clients.
He said: “I couldn’t be more pleased to be working for Pareto, a premier firm of financial planners.
“I’m passionate about providing truly independent fee-based advice, and for that there is nowhere better to be.”
Simon joins the employee benefits team from Friends Life, while Maura is now part of the paraplanning department working closely with Pareto’s team of advisers.
The four new hires take the headcount at Pareto FP, based on St John Street in Manchester city centre, close to 40.
Pareto will be expanding its accountancy network this year and expects to take on three more Independent financial advisers – two to work out of existing accountancy connections and the other to link up with a recently won accountancy practice, all based in the north west.
The firm was founded nine years ago by John Stevenson and George Chantry.
John said: “We are expecting 2017 to be another record-breaking year for Pareto FP and feel our four latest recruits will help us drive the business towards that goal.
“The challenge now is to continue to recruit high calibre professionals to meet increasing demand for our services, from both our existing clients and new professional introducers.”
