These columns are part of a series of 12 and will be running until April.
The Vernon Building Society appointed Steve Fletcher to be its new CEO, replacing Mike Hanson after 21 years in the hotseat.
More locally, as well as in the Stockport Express and the Manchester Evening, the story ran across the main Manchester business websites – Insider, Business Desk and BDaily – as well as on the Vernon’s website and its member email.
We also wrote the good news story about the Vernon Building Society Brass Band raising almost £900 for Stockport Foodbank.
South Manchester News
Our local, good news website is agonisingly close to 400,000 page views – and that is in less than two years.
We will definitely hit the big number in the first few days of March – in total we have reached more then 150,000* people across south Manchester, Stockport, Cheshire and Trafford
Over the past three months we have averaged around 15,000 page views a month.
The most read story – with just under 1,000 page views – was about Lianne Sykes’ award nomination. The next most-read stories were about the new Berretto Lounge opening in Stockport and the £2.8m revamp at Grand Central.
